I am a single mom of a 12 yr old son...we are in danger of losing our electricity..I also work out of my home on the computer and if I loose my elec.I will loose my job as well. I can pay some on friday 6/22/07. But not all of it..and they are demanding all or nothing as I have broken several agreements.. I tired to help my brother thru a bad sopt in his life..he came to us last fall and I had not seen or heard from him in 10 yrs.he was in bad shape and alcoholic...he had dogs i could not have,and since I share a soft spot in my heart for animals and my son loved them also..I could not have him staying with me or I was at risk of losing my house. My landlord and housing would not allow this. So I then tried to pay for him to stay in a motel that allowed dogs. Finally he got so bad I found him near death in the motel and put him into the hospital. Where we got help and went thru rehab. While he is in rehab he can't work,so I put the dogs into a kennel,and paid for it up to $650..over the months...so I have tried ,ON TOP of being a single mom, who recieves NO child support either. I have helped feed and clothe and support my brother in his time of need. I ignored friends who told me I was going to pay the price for this..and did what my heart told me to do.. I know what its like to be "floating alone" in this life and I do not wish this upon any one.I could not see what I saw and know this was my "little" brother.The elec comapny does not want to hear this or care. I have also utilized the help of any emergency services in this area within this past year,and cannot use them again for another year. Since they are all linked together there is noplace for me to turn.I have no family.And my brother is not yet on his feet. I am so scared and panicing...I cannot loose my elec.I guess I hoped by doing this, something would work itself out by the time anything got this bad. I am also looking into moving out of our little house,which we got so we could have a dog, and into an apt that will include utilities.But I am on housing and must give my landlord and housing 30 days notice...So I cannot leave here til end of July.I can pay some of my elec this friday as this is payday..but they will not accept it to put off the diconnection, they must have it all..its high! $800!! I was able to put this on the back burner while I chanced doing other things to help my brother and his dogs. I am not even sure who I am writing to..or what U can do for us..but we have no where to go for help..no parents left. No other family whatsoever. Is this just how its ends for us..I cannot loose my job..I am a good person..and do not drink ,or even go out for dinner.. I take care of my son..he has been a trouper thru all of this..he is alot like me in the "softheart" dept. to a fault tho it appears now.I need someone to tell me that there is hope...thank U for anything U may do for us..
